February 9, 2010 - Celebrate the Olympic Flame in White Rock
TIME: 6:30 AM (Torch Route unveiled)
Pancake Breakfast & Music Performances: A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the Olympic Flame in person as it passes through the White Rock community. Afterwards, join us between 7:30 and 10:30 AM at the White Rock Community Centre, 15154 Russell Ave., for entertainment and a pancake breakfast hosted by the White Rock Firefighters Charity.

TIME: 6:00 - 9:00 PM
A community party organized by the White Rock BIA
Join our community to celebrate the opening of the winter Olympics on Friday February 12 from 6pm to 9pm. This Celebration of the Flame will feature three rooms of activity and family entertainment, fireworks, the ceremonies broadcast on a 40ft outdoor screen and an exclusive restaurant spotlight lounge in a hip, urban setting where guests can watch the Opening Ceremonies and can sample your fare to those guests over 19 years. There will be a cash bar and live entertainment all evening. Tickets are $10 for the cash bar and dining area and can be purchased through White Rock Leisure Services 604-541-2161.
