If there’s one thing White Rock knows how to do, it’s throw a party.
 
Each year, our family-oriented summer festivals and events draw thousands to the beach, while a number of newer, off-season events ensure the fun never ends. There’s even a chilly Polar Bear Swim to help ring in the New Year!

The summer season kicks off with Canada Day by the Bay on July 1 and includes the spectacular Spirit of the Sea Festival in August—a two-day arts and entertainment extravaganza featuring fireworks and an unforgettable night-time parade.

For sports fans, the annual Tour de White Rock sees nationally renowned cyclists tackle the city’s steep seaside hills as part of BC Superweek, British Columbia’s premier week of bike racing.

From block parties to outdoor movies, there’s always something new to enjoy.
